ART
From 1st Ave, heading north west, down through Strathcona and all the way to Railway St. in Gastown there are hundreds of artist exhibits being featured in this years East Side Culture Crawl. Call some friends, fill up the flask, pump up your bike tires and get out there. Sure it’s shit outside but you live here, so get used to it and learn to function. Just don’t forget the flask.

MUSIC
In between lawsuits and distilling their own particular brand of boot leather brandy, the folks over at The Nerve have found time to put on a cute little music festival. This years Festival of Guns is sooo massive it’s hard to know what to go see. Like how do you choose whether to go see Rockabilly at the Bourbon, or Rockabilly at Pub 340, or Rockabilly at The Astoria? Tough call. Tough call.

FILM
If for some weird reason you really feel the need to stay dry and warm tonight then your definite best bet is to go see an evening of Cute To Kill Animation. Curated by Yuriko Iga and Asa Mori and presented by Blim, the evening features short animated works by a whole whack of talented animators (natch) and will be a real hoot. Promise. Unless of course you hate drawing and stuff.

8-11pm @ VIVO (1965 Mains st.)
